Update and information pack
Posted by on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 07:25 PMOn 16 March the national Brook board voted unanimously to become "One Brook". Since this time an Interim Advisory Group of trustees and directors from across the Brook Network worked with the national office Senior Management Team to create an information pack for Centre Directors and the Chairs of our Trustee boards to help them make a decision about remaining part of the "One Brook" organisation. The pack was sent out on 4 June as scheduled and incorporated answers to the questions and issues raised during the consultation period which ended in February.
The information pack was produced in a record six weeks and I want to thank all of the IAG who worked above and beyond the call of duty to provide information and advice. All Centres now have until the end of June to make their decision and they must now agree how to best meet young people's needs now and in the future.
It is my sincere hope that everyone will opt to remain within Brook so that we can continue to innovate, pioneer and fearlessly campaign for the sexual health rights and needs of young people and to achieve our aspiration to become bigger, bolder, better!
